Now as i recall..the purpose of the UN is for dialog with the ultimate goal of bringing our world together in peace and friendship..if not that, then at least we can talk about our issues. It's not a perfect system..but it's a method we should put to good use. If we appear to be a world class bully then we corrupt the very thing we desire to be.... Preacherlady!!

Purge is exactly what is needed, begin immediately from the Commander in Chief on down... Taters, my friend, I will reply soon. I am still hosting a houseful of children, and grandchildren... my sons came home for grandparents 60th wedding anniversary... Cooking for 20 is a challenge in itself... I haven't had a minutes peace since they came, and am loving it. With grandson over in Okinawa, I am happy they are here for awhile... I haven't been able to access computer much, and never watch faux news, so I am just catching up a bit here. Perhaps OT, but I think the treatment of the Prez of Iran is abominable. He may or may not be agreeable to any or all of us, but he is deserving or being shown respect as his position dictates. I think I agree with Krugman who posted a great article on this subject... I remember the letter he wrote Bushie boy before Iraq war... it sounded very rationale in my rememberance, but was also ignored... such a shame that instead of recieving a hand of friendship, america offers a slap to the face.
