I thought Southern politics was ruthless but the "Chicago Way" is an acceptable form of "doing business" here. When the primaries started I kept telling my friends who supported Obama than I had a hard time accepting Obama and his reform platform. I could not reconcile a politician who wanted to clean up Washington when he emerged and thrive in system as corrupt as the one in Chicago. My friends would feed me the Republican talking points of another scandalous Clinton presidency and nominating Hillary would expose Bill's personal and financial relationships since he left office. I do not know how far the federal investigation will go but as it continues I keep thinking that Obama is federal informant since he keeps coming up clean from every probe and everyone around him is going to prison but him.
