I hardly post at MyDD anymore since the discourse there is so juvenile and narrow in scope. That’s unfortunate because some of the more level-headed diarists are quite good. But posters there are generally very immature, and invariably obsess about troll rating and rec’d diaries. They are also intolerant of different views, attacking anyone who challenges their blindness toward the ONE. For the most part, an exchange with a poster there is to descend into the depths of stupidity or ignorance–or both. It’s really rather tiresome.

Re Rendell: I read his comments differently. He said Matthews would be the strongest “Dem” candidate then went on to caution he’d be running against (the formidable) Specter. He also said, prefacing his remarks, he didn’t know for certain if Matthews would be running.

I don’t really take this as an “endorsement”, seems more like a weak type of praise?

Nevertheless, nothing surprises me anymore at this point. I want our country back. I hope if Matthews does run that he loses bigtime.

Everyone seems to have forgotten Caroline’s name is Schlossberg. Mrs. Schlossberg. And it is the writing on the wall – she will take over from Joe Biden as Obama’s vp and then run in 2016 or whatever year Obama decides to stop being Dictator….er…. sorry – President, I meant to say.

Re the background – it is always black to begin with at the top of the page at and under the first thread… have to click on it to turn it back to white – sometimes takes a couple of minutes to change to normal. Has been like that since the middle of the primaries…

bless you for that berfie. i have 3 indoor kitties and feed two outside kitties also. when ike came in i took the three indoor cats and left. i was so worried about the other two. fortunately there is shelter here for them. i left food with a neighbor to put out for them. we didn’t have flooding here but i was worried about the trees falling. when i came back, they heard my voice and came running.

Axlerod is clearly tired and unsure of his story. Emanuel and Axlerod are ducking and weaving from this issue, and everything that falls out of their mouths is a mistruth. Now that the Il Supreme court wont impeach Blago we get to hear him sing. This is going to get messy. Go BLAGO.
