Politely but firmly I've suggested that my niece allow her little boy to adopt a doll as his fave playmate. She was not comfortable, but in the end she let him keep it! Yes, small steps, but mightly in building a Revolutionary Community Consciousness to help bring down the Walls of Misogyny.
