And, I surely hope this is only the beginning of Judas’s pay for play. This was not confined to CDR, this is the way of business Bill conducts himself with in EVERY aspect. Whether Solar Companies getting help from Taxpayers for a hefty donation…or CDR….or Unions, forcing state employees to join a Union for his now hefty contributions. EVERY WHERE. He brought a level of corruption to NM that even lifelong NMexican’s didn’t expect.

I really hope they look in to his Spaceport too. That other business venture that taxpayers had to pay for AND THEN INCREASE TAXES for. All to build on rented land of two ranchers. THis guy is some piece of work. And he had no problem cancelling a contract if that donation didn’t make it to him.

I also want to add, I hope the investigators already copied the computers they think have information on them……..

Moving America Forward …Eli Lee is involved in New Mexico Youth Organized, which, along with ACORN, was under fire this year by Attny. Gen. Gary King, who said they should be considered PACS, not non-profits. PACS are supposed to reveal donor names, while the non-profits do not fall under this law…it’s all about transparency and the money coming into the state from outside sources…”advocacy groups” like ACORN and NMYO getting involved in trying to influence legislation, which is a no-no for advocacy groups…but not PACs.

EXCERPT:

But there’s a problem. Apparently, the Secretary of State’s office may not be on board. Back in April, the SOS decided that NMYO ” was a lobbying organization not subject to the Campaign Practices Act.” In his letter, King asks the SOS to amend the April decision and states that NMYO has “characteristics in common with both a political committee and lobbyist organization” and cites the “influence” of NYMO’s activities with respect to the law. But, to date, the SOS has not changed the status of NYMO.

My suspicion, of course, is that the hand of Bill Richardson is behind the uncertainty about the fate of the AG’s decision. According to the Albuquerque Journal article cited below, the the executive director of the center, Eli Lee, “helped in Gov. Richardson’s Moving America Forward campaign in 2003-04. Lt. Gov. Diane Denish and First Congressional District Democratic nominee Martin Heinrich are among his former clients. In July 2006, he and five of his employees left Soltari to help form the Center for Civic Policy.”

I’m hoping that the Republicans remember than even the minority party can find ways to bring up no-no questions of Cabinet selections.

What a strange world we live in — it seems like the Obamacrats are using the same play book — refusing to answer questions about anything.

Ms. C Kennedy only answered 11 questions — Obamalama won’t answer questions (were’s the damned BC?)

We shall see if this is a developing pattern — just ignore the press. Perhaps the press might have to go out and do some digging and find their own damned anwers???
