My “girlie” dog, a female Akita, Sharpee, and Chow mix, built like a Mack Truck, would strike fear in the heart of anyone with a knowledge of dogs (and has). She is submissive to me and my wife but is very territorial and can actually herd our cats when she gets her control need going.

I think they should check out Tibetan Spaniels, an adorable little breed with the heart of a tiger, but sweet as sugar, too. I have one, a rescue, and he’s wonderful.

I adore Akitas! Have had 3 of them in my lifetime and adore the breed. My last one was Yoshi, who lived to be 11 1/2 yrs. I grieved for that dog for a year, and he’ll be the last Akita for me. I have 5 dogs now, but no other Akita could live up to him in my heart. Kids loved my akita and always wanted to hug him; he was like a big gentle-ben-huggy-bear, and he was always gentle with them. They are territorial and need socialization with other animals when young, but they are quite protective of, and loyal to, their loved ones. In Japan, they’re historically quite beloved as family pets and baby-sitters, too. No one would dream of kidnapping or harming a child being protected by the family Akita! It warms my heart to see Akitas mentioned, so thanks for reminding me of mine. ;o}

Check out WND for story about Obama’s Rezko home purchase. Renewed interest by Fitzgerald, and apparently Obama doesn’t even receive the property tax bills; Rezko’s attorney does.

it seems obamas claimed house taxes and payments
on their 2006 taxes and don’t even own the mansion.
16,000 taxes and 60,000 mortgage.
i wonder if the lawyer who owns the home claimed it off on his taxes also.

Yeah, I really trust WND and their unbiased reporting. BTW, did you PUMAs know that Blagojevich’s lawyer wants to subpoena Emanuel and Jarrett in his pending impeachment case? It seems that Blago needs them testify on his behalf. Obama’s people don’t so guilty now, especially if Blago needs them to save his ass?
