Susan Update

Susan says she’s received flowers and cards from various people, and they cheer her room up quite a bit. She would like to thank everyone for that. (She said she will send people personal thank-you notes when she’s at home.)

She says, “Thank you so much for everything everyone has done.”

    Bill,
I had to delete the hospital information, because Susan received a crank call. What asshole would do that?

    Hoopster,
Susan says her new digs in Rehab are much nicer!

Can you believe how fast she’s recovering? The physical therapists are already working with her. Ouch.

Thanks for the update, Bill & Leslie.

  • Sandy

I can’t BELIEVE someone would do that! To someone who just had SURGERY! What a sicko! So sorry.

But SO SO happy to hear she’s doing so well! In Rehab….ALREADY!!! Wow! How terrific! She’s on her way. I’m sure it must be VERY painful…..but she’s a strong woman….hard to keep her down, I’ll bet.

Thanks so much, Leslie, for the update.

Blessings, Susan! You’re doing a great job! Hold on! You can do it!

Leslie – Thanks so much for keeping us all posted on Susan’s recovery! You’re a good pal.

As it happens, I live only about twenty minutes from Virginia Mason. If Susan needs anything from someone “in town” please let me know by email. I’m happy to help if help is needed.

Just spoke to our gal Susan, she sounded well, despite recuperating and the pain meds. Susan said hugs to all and call her if you would like. (She enjoys the calls)

    Thanks Taters.

Glad to hear Susan sounds good.

I tried calling her twice today without success. She’s busy, busy, busy. They have her on an exercise routine.

  • alohaleezy

Wow! I haven’t been connected for almost two months because of a move back to Kauai. PLEASE tell Susan her old friend alohaleezy wishes her a speedy recovery. I have missed her writings since the old BT days. Would love to give her a call. Can you email me at alohaleezy at yahoo dot com the number where I may reach her? Thanks for keeping us posted.

  • Sandy

Thinking of you, Susan, and hoping against hope the rehab isn’t TOO unbearably painful!

Hold on! You can do it!
