another memorable golfing moment

I don’t know what it is about golfing… There are some images that remain forever in our memories, and for me, two of those include golfing. Now, we unfortunately, have a third.

The first one, OJ Simpson on the golf course, after he was acquitted for the deaths of Nicole and Ron. Interviewed by the press, OJ said he would not rest until he found the real killer…and then went on to play golf.

O.J. Simpson golfs in Florida
October 18, 1995
oj-golf
PANAMA CITY, Florida (CNN) — O.J. Simpson has been seen in public for a second straight day at a golf course in Panama City, Florida. He signed autographs and chatted briefly with reporters before teeing off.

Simpson said he did not know how long he would be in the Gulf Coast city. His girlfriend, Paula Barbieri, has been staying with her mother there. Simpson laughed off a reporter’s query as to whether the two got married (61K AIFF sound or 61K WAV sound).

Two weeks ago, Simpson was acquitted on charges of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. He had not been seen in public before Tuesday.

The second unfortunate golfing incident is the clip of George Bush from Fahrenheit 9/11:

“I call upon all nations to do everything they can to stop these terrorist killers. Thank you. Now, watch this drive.” ~ George W. Bush

And now, today, we have this one:

Shhhh! As the world waits for Obama to voice his opinion on Gaza, America’s President-in-waiting hits the golf course
Mail Online
30th December 2008

Barack Obama remained silent over the violence in Gaza as Israel today threatened to continue its attacks for weeks. Instead the President-elect is continuing his 12-day Christmas holiday in Hawaii and was seen enjoying a round of golf. He joined a group of friends at a private club near his $9million rented, beach-front holiday home in Hawaii yesterday.

Shh: Mr Obama, who is staying silent on the Israeli attacks, asks the crowd to be quiet as he finishes his putt

Meanwhile, 9,000 miles away in the Middle East, Israel rejected any truce with Hamas today and said it was ready for ‘long weeks of action’ in the Gaza Strip. Observers said that at least 10 people were killed and another 40 injured as up to 16 bombs were dropped by Israeli warplanes during early morning attacks. The targets included the offices of Hamas prime minister Ismael Haniyeh, police stations and Gaza’s treasury and foreign ministry buildings. Continue here.

What is it with men, the golf course and bad media moments?

  • pdgrey

I agree with your post. But could I say, their are some great old movies with wonderful lessons about golf, The Legend of Bagger Vance, The Greatest Game Ever Played, Tin Cup. It’s really a great game because you play against yourself and the course. But it’s so expensive to play now I guess it’s become the game for “elites”. Too Bad.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ American Girl in Italy

I love Bagger Vance, never saw The Greatest Game.

I love golf, i used to play before i moved to italy. In WA many courses were quite affordable. Tiger did a lot to inspire the younger generation to pick up the game! I love it! You don’t have to be a jock to play it, or big and muscle-y! hehe

  • pdgrey

American girl in Italy, To answer your question “What is it with men, the gold course and bad media moments?”, Maybe it’s just men w/ a power problem. I don’t know just guessing.

  • SHV

Don’t forget Bush41 playing golf, while on “split screen” caskets were being unloaded at Dover AFB.

  • pdgrey

I meant golf, sorry. If you haven’t seen “The Greatest Game Ever Played” please do. It’s the story of Francis Ouimet, wrong side of the tracks guy, you will love it. Make sure you watch the specials on the DVD because it tells the entire story.

  • Elena

Are you really comparing Barack Obama, president-elect of the United States, to OJ Simpson who murdered two people in cold blood? Those two don’t even belong in the same sentence, even though I get your point that it’s about them playing golf.

Also, he is not the president yet. So he is actually not able to comment on American military policy. That is entirely Bush’s domain, for another 3 weeks.

  • oowawa

My goodness, what serendipity. We were just discussing this very topic on the “open thread.” My comment there was:

Instead of fiddling while Rome burned, I suppose Nero would have been playing golf, but it hadn’t been invented yet.

  • Lonni

I don’t care for BO at all but fair is fair. He wasn’t shushing anyone because it was his turn. He was shhhhing them because it was his partners turn to swing. To make it into anything else isn’t right. Having said that…I still don’t care for BO at all.

  • pdgrey

American Girl in Italy, I hope you doing OK, I have missed talking to you. We used to talk over at TM.

  • pdgrey

Elena, no, I think she was asking the question “Why does it seem that when we really need an answer to a important question, they are always playing golf”? That is way I read it. But I will let AGII speak for herself.

  • Berberqueen

Exactly, actually. The pool report said the crowd was applauding Obama’s swing, and he asked them to quiet for a minute because his friend was about to play.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ American Girl in Italy

uh, no, i am not comparing Obama to OJ, the murderer. I am comparing the golf moments that are embedded in my memory.

but, how come you are not concerned with Bush being *compared* to OJ, and just Obama? hahah

  • http://uk.yahoo.com/?fr=fptb-bt Josie

I really liked the post. It highlights what these 3 people decided to do when more appropriate behaviour seemed to be fitting.
Saying that, maybe its Obama’s tactic – to make himslef look in control and cool under such circumstances.
Has Hillary come out and commented yet on Israel? Where is she now? Playing tennis? I hardly think so.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ American Girl in Italy

How are you!! I am good! i miss everyone over there, but as *she* said… i needed to get out of the echo chamber. :O)

  • Elena

Well, I didn’t agree with either comparison, of course.

The comment I was going to make was about Obama not being president yet, and then I realized it seemed really wrong to be comparing him to OJ and added that at the last minute.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ American Girl in Italy

yes, that, and basically they are just memorable media moments that involve golf, when there is a serious situation at hand.

I don’t think it looks good that the PEBO is out playing golf when there is a full on war beginning in Israel – Christmas vacation aside, and the fact that he hasn’t been sworn in yet aside… it is a serious situation at hand, Bush is on vaca, and obama is playing golf, and it might not make people feel like he is on top of the situation, if he is out playing golf…. Perhaps it is just me.

Just like i don’t think it looked good when Bush was golfing during the beginning of the Iraq war, or OJ when he JUST got acquitted, and promised to hunt for the *real killers*. Had OJ NOT played golf, and acted that way immediately, many people might have actually believed he was innocent…

I’m just saying – it is a bad media moment.

  • pdgrey

I agree about “the echo chamber” had to escape their too! I’ve missed you guys.

  • pdgrey

    there, hell.

  • J.J. (The PUMA)

You missed one of my favorite golf moments. George Bush 41 announced that he was going to veto an extension of unemployment benefits while riding around on his golf cart. That was the sight that made me change party registration from Republican to independent.

  • J.J. (The PUMA)

America elected a “head of state” in November, not a “head of government”. He is more like Prince Charles than he is like the Prime Minister. But even the royals know to scale back the opulence when things in the world are in a mess.

  • http://tojo toni

oh please….ever the magnanimous President-In-Waiting. Lonni, you missed the point by long shot.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

it was a most unfortunate media moment. it is what it is.

  • R2D2

Golf has its own image. Those who play it are usually well to do because it’s extremely expensive to play a round of golf, hence those who play it have no idea what regular Joe plumbers lives are all about.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

oooh i like that. great comment.

  • oowawa

    scale back the opulence

A lovely and useful concept. Exactly the opposite of

    puttin’ on the ritz.

  • CentralMass

I’m no O supporter but the association with OJ is over the top. He is not the president and has no power at this point.

It looks like he is enjoying a last moment or two before stepping into the meat grinder. Making some off the cuff comment from the Golf Course on a issue like this conflict nearly a month before he is sworn in wold be ill-advised.

  • parentofed

Fair on not, it’s about image, at which ObamaCo supposedly excels. My Repub friends have protested that certain images of Bush presented by the media were inherently false and unfair.

  • getfitnow

sarainitaly, exactly. To me it is a horrible moment. Same thing happened during Georgia/Russia. For someone whose every public move is scripted, this simply looks bad. It’s hard to believe his “team” doesn’t get it.

  • skinny malinky

Obviously something like this has the potential to make Obama look bad, but I doubt it will, for a variety of reasons. Here’s my question: what should Obama be doing right now? I honestly don’t know; golfing looks a little gauche, but he can’t be making orders or taking meeting with heads of foreign states regarding anything specific, because then he’d look like he’s assuming power before he has it, and everyone would get on him for that. So what do you think he reaction ought to be?

  • Baba Rum Raisin

While Ike golfed, he had Sherman Adams release some bit of Administration news as he approached each hole so that it looked like he was working.

Who’d have thought that, 50 years later, Ike would look smart?

  • imustprotest

Well, Obama has never done anything before, why should he start now.

  • DeaninMi

    Great observation, AGII.

I wonder if all of the “he can’t do anything because he isn’t Prez yet” people were vocal when Obama went on his world tour before the election. He certainly didn’t have any problems violating the Logan Act, then. Or did they miss that?

  • James

The comparisons between Bush and Obama are staggering and I can’t believe no pundit in the media argues it. Remember how many vacations Bush took when he first took office, claiming he could do all his work through a fax machine instead of being engaged in the White House? I think Obama is the same kind of manager, just with different political beliefs. I expect Obama to govern the same way as Bush – dip out of the White House when things get tough, depend on other people to come up with solutions and ideas, and govern based on “intuition”. Same disastrous results.

Bush has his bicycle. Obama has his basketball.

  • Strawberrybitch

    Hahahahahah.

  • pdgrey

R2D2, It’s sad that is has come to that for golf. It’s really a great game.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

the article I linked to isn’t about *who obama is shooshing for* it is about why obama is shooshing anyone. It is about the point that he is out golfing and shooshing the press, so as to avoid any questions on the current crisis. And that, in turn, made it a bad media moment, that in my opinion, will be remembered. Much like the other moments I listed. And the one SHV mentioned.

The comments that he isn’t president yet are a little silly considering people have been CLAMORING for him to be sworn in early. One would think he could at least show a little concern during this crisis…not shoosh the press so his buddy can tee-off.

  • tek

I guess everyone has already seen the news that Bobby Rush has accused the SEnate Democrats of “hanging and lynching” Roland Burris because the Dems have promised to block any appointee of Roddo. Burris is black and ran for governor several times and could not get elected. It’s the age of appointing inexperienced, incompetent and inelectable Democrats to the highest positions in the land.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

    HAHAHHAHA

  • tek

Even if that were true, the images of Bush that we know incontrovertibly to be true show us what kind of man, and president, he was. Truly, one of the worst if not the worst. Anyone who doubt it should read Molly Ivans’ “Shrub.”

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

informing himself of the situation, getting briefed, making a statement….staying off the golf course? people, hell the world, are all looking to him to see what he is going to do – no one is talking about what Bush is going to do with this situation, they are all talking about what obama will do. and the first image they have of him is him playing golf, and shooshing reporters… i’m just saying. bad media moment.

But you are probably right, this won’t hurt him. no one cares.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

    multi-tasking, i love it.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

the why is the entire world discussing what OBAMA will do about this situation? i don’t hear the media talking about bush…

it is a bad media moment for obama. that’s all i’m saying.

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

    excellent point, my friend.

  • HC

President “call me when you need me” in action.

Also, can I stop hearing that Mr. Obama is hot? He is a dork with manboobs. Stop with the hot already.

  • Lisa

Another great post of zero value.

What do you expect Obama to do? There is only one president at a time in this country and how do you know what is going on behind the scenes.

What is wrong with playing golf? Do you expect Obama, who is not the president, to be sitting by the phones all day? What is he expected to do exactly? Another bad media moment maybe in your peanut brain!

Another BS meaningless attack on Obama. If that is all you got then Obama is in great shape.

  • Strawberrybitch

You got me on that one. The women who find him attractive must be pretty hard up, ’cause…yikes, chicken legs, no ass, big ears and cleavage…huhuhuuhuh(shudder).

  • PKJayne

Strawberry I agree, they must be hard up.

  • the duke of marlboro

Given the similarities between Obama and Bush in their reaction to Israel’s latest, I can’t help but think they’ve (Israel) been written off.

Don’t know that, certainly, but sometimes I get the feeling the wind has shifted.

  • oowawa

He is a dork with manboobs.

But you have to admit, they are quite perky for a man of his age.

  • samb

FORGET THE GOLF, I AM TRIED OF SEEING OBAMA ON VACATION , NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE TRYING TO MAKE HIM SOME KIND OF BIZARRE SEX SYMBOL LEAVE THE CLOTHING ON, SAVE IT FOR YOUR MILITANT WIFE.

  • FembotsForObama

Elena, Obama (reluctantly) felt compelled to make (3) different statements on Russia’s invasion into Georgia. Of course this was after McCain made (1) powerful statement first.

It’s ridiculous to think that the PEBO shouldn’t be commenting on foreign policy yet. But what is he going to say, because this happened on Obama’s watch (check commentary by Andy Martin).

How come when you want him to be POTUS he is, but when we want him to at least act like POTUS he isn’t?

    just sayin’

  • samb

I ALMOST THREW UP WHEN I HEARD SOMEONE IN THE MEDIA CALL HIM A HUNK, I FELT LIKE SAYING A HUNK OF WHAT?

  • PKJayne

    lmao oowawa

  • stodgie

hunk???? let’s take up a collection for glassses for that poor soul.

  • FembotsForObama

Let’s not forget Obama’s utter willingness to CAMPAIGN for his cousin, Odinga, for national office, while on a taxpayer funded trip!

I am in total agreement with you SII … this is what you are saying

    when in a crisis…
the hardworking roll up their sleeves, and the elitists go play golf

I bet you we have many many more moments like this during Obama’s administration.

  • FembotsForObama

And I totally agree, that golf is a great game, but it has gotten incredibly expensive to play especially in today’s economy, right?

Now maybe if Obama had been playing put-put with his kids, wouldn’t that have been a much better media moment?

    just sayin’

  • James

They just can’t get over him. First he’s a political combo of Lincoln, FDR, JFK, and MLK. Then they praise him as a husband. Then as a father. And now as a sex symbol!?

WHEN WILL IT STOP? I feel like taking a job overseas to escape the media fellatio party.

  • FembotsForObama

Sorry tek, I don’t think we should call Burris inexperienced. Let’s be fair.

His creds don’t compare to Caroline Kennedy’s. It’s true he ran for public office and didn’t win, but the man was state comptroller and AG. So at least he has working knowledge of how government works. He was simply a safe choice for Blago, and a real hard in-your-face for the Dems.

  • FembotsForObama

Maybe the media is setting us up for an affair down the road. You know, Obama is so hot that women just throw themselves at him and he couldn’t resist.

  • wodiej

    NO SHIT…..

  • wodiej

anyone want to take bets on who takes more vacations, Bush Jr. or Obama?

No one was comparing Obama to OJ. It was a comparison of golfing when something tragic is going on. Get it??

Obama hot?? GAG, some people have poor taste and low expectations.

Since Obama wants to have a fake presidential seal and then a seal with office of the president elect and all of his other horseshit. then he can just get down to it.

We’ll see how the BoBo Bots excuse his behavior once he’s in office. Should be laughable and tragic at the same time.

  • Animal Control

He did establish “the office of the president elect” I could be wrong but do not recall other elected presidents to use this particular title. It really is all about Obama.

  • Animal Control

    Dito

  • Animal Control

Ike was smart and warned us about “the Military Industrial Complex” in his farewell address.

    http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/ike.htm

  • elise

skinny, I agree he shouldn’t be doing anything. Hillary is probably busy doing her homework so she will be ready on “Day One” to address the problems in the Middle East. In fact, I wouldn’t mind if he stayed on the golf course in Hawaii for a long time and leave the whole problem to someone who knows what she’s doing.

  • AOK

Please stop with the Logan Act nonsense. This was debunked months ago, or did you miss that?

  • http://tojo toni

sarainitaly, I don’t think that they are just waiting to see what Obama is going to do but some, I feel, have drawn a line in the sand, daring him to do.

  • http://tojo toni

    great comment, DeaninMi

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

    right on! :OD

  • http://americanpumainitaly.blogspot.com/ sarainitaly

thank you! at least most people *got it*. :O) One guy on my blog is insistent i am comparing obama to oj the most famous AA murderer * evah* and being racist… ugh. the race card never stops.

(my stepmom used to date OJ, at USC. i just remembered that. his parents didn’t like him dating a white girl – that is what she told me.)

anyway, when i saw the story of obama today – those are the two images that flashed in my little brain – oj and bush golfing, and the horrible media moments that they were. race didn’t play into it….although you can’t convince *some* people of that.

  • Justine

You obviously do NOT read much news. Obama DID comment on what is going on in the mid-east. But, count on you to always grab a ridiculous opportunity to attack him – for what??? I don’t really know. For taking a vacation? For not holding a 24 hour press conference giving his comments and opinions on political matters? You know damn well that if he did, you would attack him for trying to be president before the inauguration. He ‘shoosh’s the press’ and you complain at his audacity to do so – yet the media (and YOU) cannot say enough about how there is TOO MUCH press on the guy. You hate Obama your articles are nothing but far reaching attempts to put some relevance into your attacks on him. Golf? 90% of the politicians of ALL parties and positions play golf – who cares who plays gold and when? Your pettiness is simply stunning.

Hmmmmmm….these are harsh political times and Bill and Hillary are taking the opportunity to drop the ball on Times Square-talk about TACKY!!! SOS and former POTUS drop the ball on New Year’s Eve – are they so hard up for something to do or is this just a chance to be seen?

  • Justine

THe comments here are simply ridiculous. When did Obama ask for photos of him surfing/swimming? Is it his fault that many have an obsession with him and his family? Who said anything racist here? Just you American girl. (By the way, why didn’t you have an image of Bill, when he was playing golf as the military command was trying to reach him to brief him on Bin Laden’s whereabouts and the imminent attack they were planning?)
The comments you are all making on his physical atributes (or lack thereof) are pretty immature and not very respectful. He happens to eat well and exercise – would you rather see Bill’s flabby thighs jiggling while he eats a big mac? (I know, he no longer has such habits – good for him).
I keep mentioning Bill because you are such a Hillary worshipper – and maybe, while you are so busy attacking the Obama-bots you might take a look at your continuing adoration of the Queen – not much different as I see it.

  • ACPD

I’ve thought there is a media-inspired and psychological connection between Obama and OJ. It was my experience that when OJ walked, most whites felt he had gotten away with murder and were outraged. Many blacks, on the other hand, felt that he might have gotten away with murder, but after so many thousands of blacks’ being falsely accused of murder in the past, OJ’s acquittal (somehow) set things straight. He was seen as a hero among many blacks. It was also said that the black women on the jury couldn’t find him guilty, because they didn’t want to be seen as serving up another young black man (especially a successful one) to white injustice. Also, OJ’s defense played the race card to manipulate blacks, in particular, but some whites. Now, many years later, the truth has come out and justice will finally be served when OJ goes to jail, and those who supported him are seen as being foolish or pathetic.

Obama’s history–while in the arena of politics and not murder–may well play out the same way. He has successfully played on our national history of racism in order to manipulate his rise to power. There are many now who are celebrating this “righting of history,” but the truth is the guy is a fraud and shallow. It will take time, but in the end, I suspect Obama and OJ will both be seen as having let down those who believed in them. They are both tragic figures, who add to rather than undo the tragedy of others.

  • Publius

    You still do.

  • Tricia Spiegel

Great post! How clever to bring those 3 together!

  • Lizzy

Maybe they saw the photo we missed. Did they snap him skinny dipping?

  • Lizzy

They are not tragic figures; that would require a soul and spirit. Both of them are so self absorbed that they do not feel normal emotions. They are dodgers, fakers deceivers.

  • mary

Yes. Men tend to be silent in moments of extreme confusion. And this confused Prez-elect has, after all, only a backpacking college trip with his Indian boyfriend in Pakistan to make him qualified and knowledgeable in international affairs. Not to count his public school Indonesian world affairs experience.

This is a great story and brings to my mind that January night in New Hampshire (or Iowa?) where Jesse Jackson Jr. said that it’s “natural to connect OJ Simpson to Obama as Obama” was seen to be attacking a “white woman” . The full quote is immortalized on Youtube and Jesse looks and sounds like the punk he turned out to be–and, fittingly, supporter of this moron-prez-elect!

  • mary

Barry is mum cause he has NOTHING of value to say–eiether way. His Lincolnesque mannerisms and xeroxed (anachronistic) agenda dictate that he seem “presidential” and defer judgment on this war–or any other.
This moronic Empty Suit has confused (like all else) inaction with superior political judgment. In a few weeks or months, the world will be laughing at yet another cruel joke presidency on humanity….Zeus help us!

I respect your opinion, but please try to understand that Obama has benefitted so greatly from misogyny in the media that his own campaign inspired and promoted, that he has failed so miserably as a human being allegedly with convictions on human equality that also include equality of women and men in requiring respectful treatment, that he himself has stood by SILENTLY while two women were called “ho” and “c*nt” while paying lip service to equality, that he has disgraced himself with his youtube performance (N.C. day after ABC DEbate in primary):

“Obama Gives Hillary the Finger” — flip-offing his female fellow senator showing extreme respect with his cagey, immature, MIDDLECHOOLER OBAMA touch. See it and then write here your opinion, or have your teenage daughter view it and give you an opinion on Barack herself…

    Remember Barry’s:

“Periodically, Hillary gets feeling down, and starts launching attacks to boost her appeal”
If you’re female, maybe you don’t have to ask your teenager daughter on this one, hey, Just?

    “The claws are comin’ out”

    “She’s likeable enough”

Ludacris on his ipod, calling Hillary “bitch” and MccCain “cripple shouldn’t get out of the wheelchair”

Barack promoted Jon Favreau instead of firing him for his drunken sexist behaviour. Jon-boy is now Director of Speechwriters at White House Co….Congrats from Justin?

Invited the HOMOPHOBIC, MISOGYNIST snake-oil-preacher of Saddleback who calls women Nazis for having abortions and gays “incestuous polygamists and child molesters”…to his Inauguration, Justin!

Maybe you’ll pray at Saddleback anytime soon??

If you’re a woman, SHAME ON YOU for not seeing this Empty Suit Misogynist for what he really is–to Women and that he plays his fiddle while Rome in Palestine is burning….NO PRINCIPLES. NOTHING TO SAY. TOO CONFUSED or EMPTY

start praying, sister, or ask Warren for a job at Saddleback!

  • mary

    Tricia,

It was, interestingly, Jesse Jackson Jr. the then co-Chair of Obama’s campaign who back in N.Hampshire/Iowa said that “It’s the natural thing for Obama to be careful to be seen to be attacking a white woman like OJ.” Please check out in youtube for exact quote. JESSE JACKSON AGREES WITH AMERICAN GIRL HERE THAT OJ SIMPSON AND OBAMA HAVE A DIRECT LINK–ATTACKING WHITE WOMEN….

Wonder if Michele goes for Khakis these days….rather than emulate a 50s Stepford wife as Barry’s campaign wants her to shut her mouth.

Back in Chicago she looked like she was angry enough to kill Hillary when she shouted (before Azelrod shut her up!)
“Hillary can’t clean her house. She can’t clean the WHite House!” — nice personal attack by the Messia’s Missus!!!! She is the one who made Obama, wouldn’t doubt her militant influence on this DREAMY, LITERATURE HUNTER IN COLOMBIA WHO LED A SO-CALLED MONASTIC EXISTENCE READING….
Obamas’s an empty shell. Michelle gave him Life (dubious directions)

  • Justine

I would like to comment on each one of your posts, but frankly dont have the time – but I just have to say you have the weirdest logic –
Where does anyone say OJ and Obama are linked – with attacking White Women?

Obama did NOT give Hillary the finger – to take a you tube clip (which, had you see it from another angle, clearly showed he was not extending just his middle finger) – and regard it as a fact indicates to me that you will believe anything negative about Obama – just because you dislike him.

You obviously will see hate, mysogyny, racism and heaven knows what else in Obama because you want to see that – no matter what he says or does, it will take on the hate you have for him. Does the way he acts towards his wife, mother-in-law and children show mysogyny? i think not.

Mysogyny is Bill Clinton’s territory. Screw them and dump ‘em. As Hillary said ‘here come the Bimbo eruptions – get rid of them’ Bill saw every woman other than his wife and daughter as prey to conquer. Nothing more – he didn’t have the decency to show any respect whatsoever – to him women such as Paula Jones, Monica, et all were just a piece of meat to sample as he could not control himself. And then the victim he became – he had these demons! Give me a break….

I differ with you in your perceptions of Obama. I don’t worship him at all and see many faults. But I do not happen to see what you see.

And please don’t tell me to ask my teenage daughter about what you perceive he is conveying – that is insulting of you to assume a daughter of mine would think and see as you do.
