Old Grumpy Guy WINNER of a Coveted Olby Award Recognizing OGG’s Extraordinary Analysis of Keith Olbermann

We here at NQ are all very excited about an award given to our stellar videographer, Old Grumpy Guy. As you know if you’ve watched his videos, OGG is the soul of good taste, erudition and clarity.

While we at NQ long ago recognized the talents of OGG, someone else has too.

Olbermannwatch(Olbermann Watch, “persecuting” Keith since 2004), a website devoted to analysis of the thoughts, utterances and explosions of Keith Olbermann, has awarded OGG an “Olby” for this video about Keith.

As a website only occasionally dog-piling on Keith for his lack of character and verbal hysteria, we are so very pleased to have a recognized professional on board.

    IMHO, the guy has more than ANGER ISSUES! OGG was being a gentleman (except for the comment of Miss HOFFHATE) and I hope he keeps shining his little light on Keith Olbermann’s BIASED UNHINGED RANTS!

    Lovely! I agree completely and even wrote Olbermann two letters saying some of this. (No reply, of course.) Most of all, though he is a sexist. One can only imagine the unresolved dependency issues he has with his mother. The guy is such an adolescent. He should have stuck with sports…. He’s way out of his league in the world of history, politics and social commentary. That’s for grown ups.

    OGG ROCKS!!! Keith’s a creep for all of the well-stated reasons OGG provides. I can’t stand Bill O either. Beware jerks with perks. Put the blowhards way back in the pack and see how long before the pack puts them in their places.

    OGG meanwhile on a meager set-up shines. That takes brains, talent and sex appeal.

    At your suggestion, I visited their website. All of that KO makes me need another shower … even making fun of him includes him … ugh! I had forgotten how spot on the parody by Ben was …. stunning!

    Back when I watched Olbermann, there were hints that all was not right in his brain.
    His segment “Oddball” revealed an individual with a creepy humor level of a 5 year old with a scatalogical obsession. We started turning it off after stories like the cat using a human toilet, and the hilarity of the fawn running through the woods with a plastic child’s beach pail stuck to its face.
    He exposed himself as an opportunist during the primaries, when trying to up his ratings by vilifying HRC as if she were the most evil thing since Karl Rove.
    I can’t even look at his nasty face anymore.

    One of the reasons I stopped doing vids on him, apart from Olbermann fatigue, was that I couldn’t stand watching him. I also felt he did not warrant consistent attention. The only problem with Olbermannwatch is that it makes too much of him, being totally dedicated to him (even though in a negative way). However, I may do one or two more about him in the future. He’s such a wide open target.

    Not only is Olbermann’s old-man obsession with young female stars creepy and sexist [why isn't there a Pop Tarts for men?], it’s also hypocritical. It’s inane to continually feature a starlet/singer and preach about how society gives them so much undeserving attention.

    Although, I have to say, for as obnoxious, un-journalistic, and anti-American as Olbermann has been all year, I expected a bit more from the collection of Olby videos there. I mean. this past year was Olbermann’s personal “best” and the videos seemed relatively tame and gentle in their criticism.

    That’s a fair comment. I think it is possibly too serious. Most of the others were satirical. My personal favorite is the one I did entitled “Is Keith Olbermann an Islamic Terrorist?”

    Thanks Grumpy. I have strong feelings about Uberman ever since he took over MSDNC, a cable channel that I watched exclusively until the Obama debacle. Now, I have gone back to watching Joe (Imus sub) and Mika, but I observe more and listen less.

    The Maddow sidekick is too painful as well. She dignifies the petty issues of the far left feminists who threw the rest of us out long ago…

    Keith is the male Maddow, and she is female equal of Keith…They are like a toilet seat, one you sit on, and one you flush….

    I used to like Olbermann and found him a refreshing counterpoint. But, then soon he started getting more and more hysterical and his pieces were even more opinion than based upon facts. I completely turned him off when he began dogging on the Clintons calling them racists during the primaries. His lack of any objectivity was frustrating. While I expected him to be biased toward a Democratic (Liberal) viewpoint, his lack of analysis within his own partisan beliefs was absolutely mind blowing and part of the problem of the division within the Democratic Party and among Liberals vs. Fauxliberals. Fascism is dead right, OGG.

    It is my opinion that many of those who label themselves”Liberal” are far from liberal in their views, and Olbermann is a prime example. If he got any narrower he could squeeze through the eye of a needle. Unfortunately, I regard myself as socially liberal, so where does that leave me?

    Fallacy of Authority. Just because someone is given a talk show, doesn’t make them somehow more qualified to give opinion over the other guy. This is a very common logical fallacy. Obama supporters are the most ignorant people, because they believe these fallacies. The are illogical monkeys in my opinion.

    Watch closer and you’ll see Olbermann is faking his passion for younger women…he’s deeply closeted but most definitely as gay as….well as Chrissie Matthews and his leg thrillies….watch their mannerisms carefully…if you have the stomach for it, that is!
