That said, the chorales, cantatas, masses, magnificats and passions are wonderful, but considering how important opera was in that time, it's hard to overlook the fact that he created none. By the way, I'm very much enjoying this series, Old Grumpy Guy. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this all together.
