Well as you might have guessed, I was at the protest in DC today as the DNC’s Rules and Bylaws Committee (RBC) met to decide what to do with the votes my family and some 600,000 others cast in Michigan, and those 1.7 million cast in Florida.

Ya know, I hear all this talk about wanting to bring our party together once our nominee is chosen at the convention in Denver, but when this latest in a long string of incidences of hate-speech crop up, all we get are more of the same half-assed statements (”deeply disappointed”) from camp Obama distancing himself [...]

I’ve noticed a pattern here on the blogs of late and it was ratcheted up to deafening levels when people decided that BO’s already won our party’s nomination. Ok maybe a while before that but my point is there’s a definite double standard here on the blogs and there has been for quite some time. [...]

(PART II WILL BE PUBLISHED IN ONE-HALF HOUR)
I got an email from a friend and have tried to confirm this from other sources – no luck as yet but I thought I’d mention this to raise an important point gang… Rumor has it that Camp Obama’s making a huge push to make nice with Hillary’s [...]

Bill Clinton said that as he was introducing Hillary at a rally recently. Truer words were never spoken where my family’s concerned and it touched my heart deeply to hear him tell the story of just how Hillary made all the difference in my 5 year old son’s life.
Now some of you might already know [...]

It’s quickly approaching $4.00 in our part of Maryland (just north of DC). $3.80 last I checked and the way things are going I wouldn’t be surprised to see it hit $4.00 by the time the last of our primaries are done on June 3rd. People are hurting guys and it’s only going to get [...]

Wow. I have to admit my jaw hit the coffee table and nearly knocked my mug off when I heard David Axelrod on Face the Nation this morning.
Bob Schieffer asked him about some recent missteps by President Clinton as he stumped for his wife on the campaign trail. What we heard this morning was [...]

UPDATE: Alegre has added critical information on Barack Obama’s two new attack ads in Pennsylvania — laced with false accusations against Hillary. SEE her update at the end. - Susan
Hillary’s been accused of using the “Republican attack playbook” in her campaign to win the Democratic nomination, and as I’ve pointed out several times in [...]

Were we watching the same debate Wed. night? Because to hear Joe Klein and other Obama apologists talk, Hillary’s suddenly the devil (republican) in Democrats clothing. Let’s get a few things straight here guys…
Hillary didn’t set the tone of that debate by determining the questions - the moderators did. To claim that she “went on [...]

I just love Fact Hub — it’s a great way to keep up with the campaign and they had fact checks up immediately, during the debate. Take a look at something they caught regarding a bit of a flub-up of Obama’s during the debate last night:
Sen. Obama’s Handwriting Appears On Questionnaire Supporting Total Handgun Ban [...]

When I was a kid I wore a lot of buttons (still do). Anti-war buttons, campaign buttons, farmworker / boycott buttons, ERA buttons, “I read banned books” buttons, “Question authority” buttons, anti-nuclear power buttons … you name it, I had it in my collection, and I wore them with pride.
One of my buttons was [...]

Hillary stopped off at Bronkos Restaurant in Crown Point, IN over the weekend, had some pizza and a beer, and spent an hour or two visiting with locals. Morning Joe discussed it a bit yesterday - take a look…
It’s also gotten a fair bit of coverage in the press. Roger Simon (Politico) had this to [...]

SusanUnPC’s Foreword to Alegre’s Story: I’m inserting a two-part interview by CNBC’s Jim Cramer with Hillary Clinton last week, captured by our expert C.S. Part One is here, and Part Two is just below the “Read More” tag.
I’ve said it before and I’ll keep on saying — it’s still the economy stupid. So the [...]

As you know, Congressman John Murtha (Super Delegate and outspoken critic of the war in Iraq) has endorsed Hillary for president. He’s on the campaign trail working the crowds and telling folks in his home state of Pennsylvania why he’s backing her, and why they should too. The campaign created this wonderful video.

Howard Dean’s refusal to lead us out of this mess he’s created in Florida and Michigan has set the stage for Sen. Obama to drag his heels in an effort to disenfranchise millions of Democrats in those two states. States we’ll need if we’re going to win the general election.
Obama seems to have a pattern [...]

I listened in on the press conference call this afternoon and Hillary’s team talked about the recent stream of personal attacks and distractions that have been tossed out by Sen. Obama’s team - from circulating a picture of Wright with President Clinton just 48 hours after making his famous speech (as if that one handshake [...]

Wow - I never expected this kind of a reaction to my declaration of independence from DailyKos last night but it seems I wasn’t the only one who’s sick and tired of being sick and tired over the hate, ignorance and hostility directed at Hillary and her supporters. Now I won’t link it here as [...]
