This is egregiously unprofessional conduct that breaches the basic canons of ethics for journalists. This behavior wouldn’t be permissible in a junior high journalism program, let alone during live coverage of a significant event on a major news network. I wonder if Susan Roesgen graduated from the Rachel Maddow School of Journalism.
