Houston: I am still thinking we have a problem…..and it’s name is The Borg Collective….

The crowd enveloping Barack Obama when he accepts the Democratic nomination for president at Invesco Field at Mile High will be asked to get to work for the privilege of witnessing the historic event live.

In a half-hour interview Wednesday with The Denver Post, Obama’s deputy campaign manager, Steve Hildebrand, said he wants to use the ticketing process as a massive recruitment tool meant to bring in supporters from all 50 states and energize them to carry the campaign into the final 60 days of the general election.

“We’re going to ask those 80,000 people in that stadium to march out of there and go with very specific instructions and goals to register millions of new voters,” Hildebrand said.

Those who want a seat will begin the process at their local Democratic Party office. While demonstrating their ability to attend, they also will be encouraged to sign on to the campaign as volunteers.

Hildebrand said that to ensure the campaign fills the stadium, the application process becomes in and of itself, a recruiting tool.

“Every single person is going to be a level of seriousness,” Hildebrand said. “You know, ‘Tell us how you’re going to get there from Maine. Tell us how you’re going to get there from Florida. Give us a sense of whether or not you’re really serious about this. If you’re not, we’re going to provide someone else with this.’ “

I was wondering how they were going to shut out the supporters of Clinton, Edwards, Richardson, Biden; and here it is in print, in one of the most audacious moves so far. Now you will have to bow down, touch your forehead to his hem and kiss his ring. Do you think, His Eminence, the Pope is getting a little anxious now?

Is this the change that everyone has been waiting for? Is anyone going to be able to have a thought or action that is not controlled by the Collective? I have really, really avoided the “H” word when talking about the Borg Prince because I did not want to make that comparison, but here it is in black and white, bold as one of Gumby’s lies and the DNC is allowing this to go on unabated, unless they actually have lost control and The Borg Prince has now become a power junkie; considering he and his staff already use terminology like he is the President.

PUMAs, Americans, hold your heads up high. We are too big, too diverse, and too patriotic a country to allow the Collective to reach our White House and, dare I say it, use it as a springboard for the rest of the world. No single American should have to go through an “application process” to be allowed into a civic event hosted by the party they are a member of. No single American should be “encouraged” to recruit others as an entrance to a civic event. The door to the Twilight Zone has opened right here in America and as long as we allow this to continue, we are all just frogs in warm water.

If this isn’t a huge RED ARROW pointing straight to joining PARTY UNITY MY ASS and the JUST SAY NO DEAL Coalition, I don’t know what is. Now is the time to do something audacious and nominate the Democrat that connects with and represents the American People; Senator Clinton.

Superdelegates, pledged delegates, Americans; are you listening?

It is time to put the welfare of this great country ahead of whatever agenda the DNC has with getting Barack Obama elected.

I’ve said this before and I will continue to say it.

It is time to put the welfare of this great country ahead of whatever agenda the DNC has with getting Barack Obama elected…or did you lose control of him when he moved your headquarters to Chicago? Did you forget that he was groomed in one of the most corrupt political systems in America; Chicago?

Personally, I would like to know what that agenda is, because, in my humble opinion, what we have been told is not the truth. What is it DNC? You want to be the ones that say “we are more progressive; we nominated and tried to elect the First Black President.” Barack Obama is not going to make our lives better or get our soldiers out of Iraq. The Borg Prince is all about being a consumer and trading up.

Obama has said numerous politically expedient comments like he would filibuster FISA and then turned around and voted for the continued spying on American citizens, just to name one. His tango movement to the right has been all about control. Was Don and Alice’s letter a cry for help? If you have fallen victim to the Borg Collective, PUMAs are here to help. We are all about the Koolaid detox process and helping those that want to join PUMA and Just Say No Deal. If he double-crossed you, (and you know who you are), and you are running scared, then we will help you as long as you put Hillary’s name into nomination and kick his sorry butt to the curb. Oh, Wow, did I say all of that out loud?

What did we start with; the questions Obama wouldn’t allow to be asked and then move onto (still) not producing true, viable vital records, a 75,000-seat stadium for his worship and to scare the bejesus out of the delegates, and now we have a speech about a civilian army that is as numerous, well trained and well funded as our military. Why? Is there a threat of attack that we need to have a standing army here, armies in two nations, and troops all over the world….or is this army to control us, the American people. That’s going to go over as well as a tourette’s syndrome episode in church. I know, I know, being waaaaay rude over here.

The Borg Prince is now trying to sell himself to the Democrats, Independents, Republicans, Green, Libertarians…etc., and quite a few Americans are not having any of it. He is using Marketing 101 by making all his greatest weaknesses look like strengths. Obama is on his first rock star world tour to make his lack of experience in foreign affairs look like a fact finding mission that he should have been doing all along. He is hoping to achieve the required marketed results from this stagecraft production; namely an increase in his ever decreasing poll numbers. Where is that 20 point lead he should have by now? Sitting squarely in the PUMA’s camp.

Do not let the Borg Collective assimilate you. Obama has lost that tiny bump he gained when Clinton suspended and now is trying desperately to create a facade of upright leadership, experience, good judgement….yada, yada, yada. He is trying to create momentum out of thin air, because he has nothing to offer the American people….nothing but what he offers while he campaigns…an empty chair.

UPDATE: 7/22/08: According to Rasmussen, John McCain now leads Barack Obama by 10 points in the SWING State of Ohio. So much for getting the rest of the world to elect our next president.

The #1 biggest myth about PUMAs:

1. All Pumas are old, menopausal, bitter white women. Wrong! According to the Just Say No Deal founders, a significant percentage; as much as 40%, are men. Here is a PUMA man who is a Native American, college educated, veteran who is not bitter about Hillary being “railroaded”; rather, he is angry, to say the least, that Obama has continued to vote against Native American interests, has voted against the American people and with the Telecoms in regards to FISA, cannot seem to find a single position and stick with it, and that he has left his chair empty while campaigning. This PUMA man believes that when any single person is diminished in any way, then every person is diminished.

And here is an excerpt from No We Won’t Blogtalk Radio where Barbara, a black lady from Mississippi called in to tell the listeners that she marched with Martin Luther King and that Barack Obama is a “race-baiting phony.”

2. PUMAs are “cloaked republicans”.

According to the Anti-Puma sites that sprung up about the same time as H.O.U.N.D., we are all “cloaked republicans” working to ensure a 3rd Bush Term. Here is quote from one such site. Please note that PUMAs are all racists.

Love the site. PUMA is a fraud – a bunch of republican racists who were voting for McCain anyway.

No democrat woman would vote to assure the repeal of Roe v Wade under McCain. They aren’t democrats – never were.

Once again, wrong. PUMAs come from all walks of life, are white, black, native american, asian, latino, gay, straight, male, female, and are from all political parties; Democrats, Republicans, Indies. We do not have a problem with the color of Obama’s skin, we have a problem with everything else about Barack Obama; his lack of experience, his voting or “not-voting” record, his un-american associates, his using the race card against a Former President and the American people, and how he failed his Chicago constituents are among a long list of deal breakers.

We all have the common goal of keeping Barack Obama and whatever agenda he wants to fly with today out of the White House, and is in part due to the decision of the Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting on May 31st, 2008. If the Democratic Party had followed it’s own “rules”, American voters in Michigan and Florida would not have been disenfranchised and ruled 1/2 people AND Hillary Clinton would have had the delegate lead to take the nomination. This is why you will hear PUMAs say that Barack Obama was selected, not elected. Why did states that were slated to be won by Barack Obama receive sanctions so that their elections would count and states that Senator Clinton was slated to win receive a punishment? Why does the DNC or fellow democrats think that the almost 2.3 million people who voted in those two states have anything to do with a contract that Senator Clinton signed saying that the votes wouldn’t count? These are American voters whose votes count because of the very charter of the party they are members of.

Fellow Democrats with selective reasoning want us to stop whining, sit down, shut up, fall in line, yada, yada, yada. Their argument is that Michigan and Florida don’t count. Obama won and Clinton lost; also not true. Neither candidate reached the required number of delegates to secure the nomination. I call it selective reasoning because the Democratic Party Charter has as one of it’s provisions the concept of “Fair Reflection”. What happened on May 31st, 2008 at the RBC meeting was the death of democracy. 600,000 Michigan voters were not fairly reflected. Barack Obama was awarded uncommitted delegates when he himself had voluntarily taken his name off the ballot. He was also awarded 4 of Senator Clinton’s delegates. How can anyone say that the decision they came up with doesn’t violate the charter of the party? Does this fairly reflect the Michigan voters that supported her? Does the 1/2 delegation from Florida fairly reflect all the people that voted there?

Article Two, Section 4, (b) and (g):

Section 4. The National Convention shall be composed of delegates equally divided between men and women. The delegates shall be chosen through processes which:

(b) assure that delegations fairly reflect the division of preferences expressed by those who participate in the Presidential nominating process,

Democratic National Committee in the Call to the Convention,
(g) prohibit unpledged and uncommitted delegates, except delegates or alternates expressing an uncommitted preference shall be permitted to be elected at the district level, in which event, if such preference meets the applicable threshold and qualifies for at-large or similar delegates or alternates, such at-large or similar delegates or alternates shall be allocated to that uncommitted preference as if it were a presidential candidate,

What Harold Ickes had to say about the hijacking of delegates is completely true and inarguable.

Another reason PUMAs are so up in arms is a general provision in the very same charter. The decision to 1/2 Florida delegates and award Michigan delegates to Barack Obama was made behind closed doors with a secret ballot. Link here to CSpan’s video vault.

Article 9, General Provisions:

Section 12. All meetings of the Democratic National Committee, the Executive Committee, and all other official Party committees, commissions and bodies shall be open to the public, and votes shall not be taken by secret ballot.

Currently, there is talk about not putting Senator Clinton’s name into nomination at the Convention, though this is not unprecedented, it would be an insult to Senator Clinton, her staff and her 18 million supporters when the delegate difference between the two candidates is so microscopically thin, neither candidate reached the required delegate count for the nomination, the controversy surrounding the primaries and the RBC decision was so immense, and the true political nature of Barack Obama now coming to light. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, Senator Clinton is leading Senator McCain by 8 percentage points. Senator Clinton is the stronger democratic candidate.

Take a look at the Blogroll on the right. Pick a site and you will find an American voter, almost always a democrat, and the reasons why they won’t vote for, and in most cases, will work against Barack Obama’s nomination and election. Start with Just Say No Deal, No Quarter, The Confluence, ClintonDems, Hire Heels….you will find intelligent, thoughtful insight into why PUMAs Just Say No Deal and why we believe that Barack Obama is not the best choice for President.
