Now for the disclaimer part. The recent two-part series on Bev Harris and Black Box Voting (second part to appear later today) was to serve as a historical and foundational context on the issue of electronic voting machines as explored in the HBO documentary, “Hacking Democracy.” As is the case with most organizations and the people who represent them, there are some who disagree with where Bev Harris wants to go, and with some of her methods (as I understand it). That is for each person to decide on their own, in my opinion. And, there is disagreement within the various organizations devoted to the issue of how our votes should be counted to ensure the validity and sanctity of those votes. Those are just the kinds of issues we want to discuss during our Live Chat.

Following our last Live Chat on May 20th, Kathleen Wynne will provide a wrap up of the issue from the perspective of her organization, Hand Count Paper Ballots Now. Please watch this space for that informative post and ways in which we can take back the power of the vote.
